SWORN TRANSLATION

The Sworn Translation Service, also known as Public Translation, is used to give legal validity to an official document translated into another language. It is very common to translate documents such as:

  • Diplomas
  • Birth Certificates
  • Statements
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Certificates
  • Financial Statements
  • Bidding Documents
  • Driver’s License
  • Certificates of Marriage
  • Passport

Translated documents are publicly valid throughout Brazil and can be used in procedures with public agencies.

The Sworn Translation may only be performed by a professional officially recognized as Sworn Translator or Public Translator, who is duly authorized by the Trade Board.

The price of the sworn translation service varies according to the number of pages of the original document and the price of each page is determined by the Trade Board of each state.
